Student Qualifies for State Competition

The sixth grader will compete at the PA State Competition in May.
In addition, sixth graders Peter Szalay, Kush Bandi, and Aakash Kottakota competed at the regional program as well. Kush and Aakash entered in the category of Webpage Design. Peter entered in the category of Digital Movie. All were original works created by the students in the gifted program with assistance from Mr. William Clack.
Their teachers Jennifer Kopach and Joanna Sovek said they are proud of their hard work.
The Pennsylvania Middle School Computer Fair is an annual event that highlights Pennsylvania middle school students' application skills and computer knowledge. Students are able to exprees their creativity, learn how to convey information more dynamically, and enhance the learning process.
The state competition will be held May 25, 2016 at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA.
