FCS Department Earns Award
The Pennsylvania
Association of Family and Consumer Sciences, Inc. is honoring the Pine-Richland
Middle School Department of Family & Consumer Sciences with a 2016 Award of
Excellence.
Teachers Erika Graham and Maria Klingenberg will accept the Pennsylvania Association of Family & Consumer Sciences 2016 Standards For Excellence-Middle School award on behalf of the department. The two have been invited to an awards dinner to be held at 6 p.m. on April 9 at the Kovalchick Center in Indiana, PA
“The award appropriately reflects your dedication and contribution to the family and consumer sciences profession,” writes PAFCS President Esther Aloia and PAFCS Internal Relations Vice President Patricia Hetrick. “Thank you so much for being such a worthy department and dedicated individuals. Yours is a perfect example of a program with commitment to a vision that supports our profession and recognizes the significance of our professional organization. We applaud your initiative and appreciate and recognize your efforts as truly instrumental in support of advancing the mission of Family and Consumer Sciences in Pennsylvania.”
