Both Dr. Banyas and Mrs. Dawson are long-standing directors. Dr. Banyas joined the board in 2009 and Mrs. Dawson in 2007.
The board also reappointed the following representatives:
- Mrs. Dawson to serve as the Pine-Richland School Board Pennsylvania School Boards Association representative for 2017.
- Mr. Steven Stegman as the Northern Area Special Purpose Schools (AW Beattie Career Center) Joint Committee representative through December 2018. Dr. Banyas also serves as representative to the NASPS Joint Committee.
- Mr. Greg DiTullio to serve as the representative for Pine Township Parks and Recreation for 2017.
- Mrs. Holly Johnston as
representative for the Pine-Richland Opportunities Fund for 2017.
Also serving on the 2016-2017 board is Mr. Marc Casciani, Mrs. Virginia Goebel, Mr. Peter Lyons, who also serves as a trustee on the Allegheny Intermediate Unit board, and Mr. Dennis Sundo, who serves as school board treasurer.
The board also established meeting dates for 2017. All meetings will be held in the DeWitt Blank Conference Room, located at 702 Warrendale Road, Gibsonia, PA 15044 at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Action items may be placed on the Reorganization Meeting and Planning Meeting agendas at various times throughout the year.
