District Updates Policy 226 - Searches
After several months, the Pine-Richland
  • The policy represents a balance between the rights of students to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures while fulfilling the district's interest in protecting and preserving the health, safety and welfare of the school population. 
  • The administrative regulation was newly developed to ensure the consistent application of policy language.  
There are a variety of proactive programs and initiatives aimed at building and sustaining a positive school environment. This policy is one component of that broader goal.

Keeping up-to-date on policies is important, so we have been providing our families updates as they become available. Below are some additional updated policies. 
All policies undergo three readings at district board meetings prior to being approved.
