High School Dance Team hosted a Little Girl Dance Clinic for girls in grades K
– 8. This was an instructional clinic in which all of the girls were taught a dance by the members of the PR Dance
Team on January
5, 2017.
The dance routine was performed at the
half-time of the PRHS Varsity Boys’ Basketball game on January
10, 2017. More than 100 girls
participated in the workshop and performance. Girls participating received a
t-shirt and hair bow for the performance and a bag of treats from their dance team member.
“This is a yearly event and one that the dance team thoroughly enjoys,” said PRDT Coach Kathy Deal. “They love teaching the little girls and seeing their excitement for dance. The dancers covered the entire gym floor at the basketball game.”
In addition to Ms. Deal, PRDT Boosters and Clinic Committee members Lori Wardoclip, Bert Lott, Susan Muschweck and Joyce Bober helped with planning and organization of the event.
