Chamber Singers to Sing at State Level

Chamber Singers The Pine-Richland High School (PRHS) Chamber Singers will perform at the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association's (PMEA's) All-State Conference at the convention center in Erie on April 20, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.
"This is a huge accomplishment," said PRHS Choral Director Lee Rickard.  "While the sports comparison isn't always valid, it is our equivalent of winning a state championship.  Hundreds of ensembles apply to be selected each year, and only a handful are successful.  The competition is fierce and being selected is an honor."
This is Pine-Richland's third time in six years to be selected to perform (Women's Ensemble in 2011 and 2013),
"I'm so proud of these kids," said Mr. Rickard. "We're super excited, and we can't wait to showcase Pine-Richland music on a state level."

The accomplishment was featured in the Tribune Review.
