Eden Hall Hosts World Cultures Day





































Students learned about different cultures from around the world without having to leave campus on May 5, 2017. More than 30 countries were represented from Argentina to Italy. Students learned about customs, sports, economics, and language and much more through guest presenters. Some of the presenters were community members, family members and local experts. Experts included:

The event concluded with an assembly. "The Diamante Trio" performed and was accompanied by Brazilian jazz and Pittsburgh opera singer Lilly Abreu. Teacher Mary Anne Sanders says Ms. Abreu has done voiceovers for Disney movies in Brazil, She sings in a Brazilian jazz band and with the Pittsburgh Opera in addition to teaching voice at Carnegie Mellon University and Chatham University.
