Greetings to Pine-Richland Students, Staff, Parents and Community,
I hope that you are enjoying the summer with family and friends! If your family is similar to mine, "summer mode" is a very different pace then the school year. Students get to stay up a little later...and sleep in a bit longer. For some students, a "bit longer" may be close to lunch time. Others are busy with jobs, camps, trips, or just playing with friends. Parents may be reaching that point where they are looking for more productivity with getting some housework or yardwork completed...by their kids. Enjoy the remaining days. We know that the next month will pass quickly.
As an educational team, we utilize the summer months to focus on a few different areas. Principals are deeply engaged in scheduling and interviewing. They are reviewing student learning results on standardized tests as those data become available. They are setting building goals for next year. Our custodial and maintenance staff are busy cleaning, painting, fixing, etc. We also reflect on our performance as an organization. This includes an analysis of progress on the strategic plan.
