PR Makes Progress on PSSAs

As a district overall, we achieved our highest yet score in math and almost matched our highest score in reading.  Our academic focus for the coming year will be to make sure that each student is appropriately challenged and supported.

Although the district and most schools made Adequate Yearly Progress this year, our high school is on the warning list this year. Our students with disabilities failed to make adequate progress in math and reading as demonstrated on the Pennsylvania School System of Assessments (PSSAs) last year. Each year, it becomes more difficult, because the benchmarks are raised. Even so, this is not acceptable to us.
