Meet New PRHS Principal

Principal Greetings to the PRHS Students, Families & Community:

Having the opportunity to serve as the Pine-Richland High School principal is exciting and humbling. I am looking forward to meeting the students, families, community members and staff. I know assuming the role of high school principal is a tremendous responsibility and one to which I am truly committed and eager to begin. I look forward to working with all of you to create a strong and collaborative partnership for supporting our students.

In starting my tenure as principal, it is important for me to learn what makes Pine-Richland High School so successful and how we can work together to increase each student's opportunity to maximize his or her potential. I also look forward to learning how I can enhance the high school's already stellar reputation. To realize this, I will connect with teachers and staff, students and families and the Pine-Richland community to build relationships and support all learners. I strongly believe that all children can and will learn. I embrace the district's vision of being a community of learners and will make every effort to build relationships and connections with all of our students.

I have learned in just my first week that Pine-Richland is overflowing with welcoming, friendly, and helpful people. I would like to invite parents to join me for a Meet and Greet on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 10 a.m. or 7 p.m. This will provide me the opportunity to introduce myself and begin to know some families. These meetings will be held in the high school auditorium.

Pine-Richland has high expectations and a desire to bring out the best in all students. I believe that each student has the potential and desire to achieve his or her dreams. Education can bring out that potential, but it takes the teamwork of teachers, students, parents, and community to maximize the results. I am truly excited to be a part of the Pine-Richland team.

Respectfully,

Nancy Bowman
PRHS Principal
